CNBC's Steve Liesman hosts the Council for Economic Education's National Economics Challenge, an economics quiz challenge for high school students. Almost 13,000 high school students in the U.S. and China entered the Council for Economic Education’s 2023 National Economics Challenge. Now, the final 32 standing will compete in the National Championships. The heated quiz bowl is hosted by CNBC's Steve Liesman, who may find the next Jerome Powell or Janet Yellen. The organization registered that almost 42,000 companies purchased some kind of cryptocurrency during October, a new record that overturns the 40,161 that declared having purchased crypto during September.
